Understanding Raw Feeding
Raw feeding offers flexibility, allowing you to customize your dog's diet. Forget the labels; it's all about providing wholesome, natural nutrition tailored to your pet's needs. Check out our blog post on the benefits of feeding raw dog food

Determining the Right Portion
Calculate your dog's ideal daily intake: 2-3% of an adult dog's body weight, divided into two meals. Puppies require 5-10% of their weight, split into multiple meals as they grow. Our calculator can help work out exactly what is needed.

Switching to Raw
You have two options: a complete switch or a mix of kibble and raw. Avoid mixing kibble and raw in the same meal to prevent digestion issues.

Gradual Transition
Monitor your dog's appearance and adjust the amount as needed. Your dog should maintain a healthy weight with visible ribs and a defined waist.

Where to start
We recommend starting with something like our Beef 80/10/10 for 4-5 days, which might temporarily affect your dog's stool colour. Gradually introduce different proteins like Surf & Turf which includes similar proteins

Hunger Sick
To avoid hunger-induced vomiting, consider providing a small bedtime snack. Our natural dried treats are an excellent option for this purpose. This can help prevent your dog from vomiting yellow bile due to an empty stomach

Bone Matters
Bone plays a crucial role in your dog's diet, but it's vital to strike a balance. Excessive bone consumption can result in pale, chalky stools. If your dog experiences difficulty passing stools, think about including more offal in their diet.

Veggies, Eggs and Fish
Vegetables are an optional addition to your dog's meals, offering volume that can assist with weight control. However, exercise caution if your dog has allergies, as some may find their conditions aggravated by vegetables. It's worth noting that some dogs simply prefer their meals without veggies. Eggs with shells provide calcium and magnesium. Dogs can have raw or cooked eggs. Oily fish is beneficial.
